Continental Breakfast includes a choice of Muesli, Cornflakes or Organic Weetabix, with Soga milk or Cows milk, warm Croissants with a selection of conserves, a variety of fruit yoghurts, fresh fruit, apple and orange juice and a selection of teas and coffee.
Veggie Full English includes a choice of veggie or vegan sausages, organic baked beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, free-range duck eggs and toast.
Environmental Policy
We are working closely with the Peak Park Authority to significantly reduce our energy consumption and limit our impact on the environment, and are actually looking into alternative energy generation sources. We try to get as much food produce from organic and or locally produced sources. Virtually all waste food produce is composted using a low carbon method.
We ask that our guest also do there bit by where possible reusing their towels and turning off their lights or other appliances when they are not needed. As a result of consultation with the Peak Park’s environmental experts we currently have a limited hours Power Shower policy in operation. This means you can have a lovely and luxurious power shower anytime from 6.30am-10.30am and then again from 6.30pm-10.30pm. By doing this we can significantly reduced our energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
Children
Children are welcome, we have ground floor two room that can be joined together as a family room and we can provide a high chair and a travel cot.
Dogs
Unfortunately, due to the very high quality of all the furnishings we do not usually welcome dogs, blind dogs are an obvious exception.
On Arrival
If you are going to arrive late, or with tired children, we can arrange supper or sandwiches can be made ready for you.
During your stay
You will find a lovely and welcoming pub called the ‘Cock and Pullet’ in the village which serves both vegetarian and vegan meal options both for lunch and dinner.

Cock & Pullet Pub
Please call – 01629 814 292 – to ask about their vegetarian and vegan menu and reserve your table, as they can get very busy at weekends.
Because we are a strictly Vegetarian B&B we ask that our guests don’t eat their own food in our breakfast area, equally we cannot heat up food that has been made or cooked elsewhere.
This is a No Smoking establishment.

Caudwell’s Mill Craft Centre Cafe
Our review:
Caudwell’s is not too far from Sheldon’s Luxury Retreat. There is a flour mill, craft shop and art shop alongside the cafe. The food is freshly prepared on the day and they are very obliging with children and will help to make you as comfortable as possible. There is a wide selcition for vegetarians and a few vegan options too. The cafe is always busy so you may have to queue for a table. Well worth a visit!

FANTASTIC!!!!! This cafe is fabulous. It is easy to find and very good value for money. The beautiful presentation , attention to detail, caring staff and mouthwatering menu make this lovely little restaurant a mustvisit for anyone wanting a good vegetarian meal.
